How absolutely amazing is it that Colossal Bio Sciences in Texas has re-created DIRE WOVLES??? Already, just a few days after the April 7th, 2025 announcement of this near miraculous feat, there is already criticism by several YouTube wanna be "experts" on their accomplishment with the three Dire Wolf Pups. Who has a right to question them when NO ONE is more expert on the matter than Colossal's genetic TEAM?? Dr. George Church is one of the world's leading genetic experts! Colossal has hundreds of people (GOOD PEOPLE) involved in this Dire Wolf Project and it was NOT an over night / fly by night thing. It's been in the works for at least TWO years and I'm sick of these "critics" that KNOW NOTHING about genetics REALLY, being critical when they are ignorant, or worse yet, stupid about the re-creation of Dire Wolves!! Vison was very young here... less than six months old, and had just begin growing A GREAT DEAL!!
I used the same Colossal Dire Wolf photo in the last three photos as you see because it's difficult to find a very clear photo of them like this one. It was found online without photo credits but I think this was the photo of Colossal's Dire Wolf on the Time magazine cover from April 7th...?? Vision was only only about 7 months in this photo (on right). He was getting heavier though and gaining weight well.
